David's story is one of the most complicated and deeply human stories in the Bible. He defeated Goliath, became king, and wrote some of Scripture's most beautiful worship—yet he also experienced fear, failure, betrayal, and devastating sin.

And somehow, God called him “a man after His own heart.”

What does that actually mean?

In David, we'll walk through the highs and lows of David's life and discover what it means to pursue God in seasons of courage, waiting, success, failure, and brokenness. More than a story about becoming a better version of ourselves, David's life points us to a God who pursues imperfect people with grace—and ultimately to Jesus, the better King David could never be.
