Hosted by Westside Family Church, this free event features hands-on crafts, fun games, uplifting songs, and a nutritious dinner, carefully tailored to meet the needs of every participant in a loving, inclusive environment.

This invaluable ministry offers parents the gift of time, allowing them to enjoy a date night or create special moments with their other children at home.

Growing Together: Exploring Faith with Your Kids 🌱

June 17 • Salvation, Baptism & Communion • 6:30-7:30p

We love that our kids ask questions—it means they're growing in stature, awareness, and knowledge! Sometimes they ask questions we know the answers to, and sometimes we might know the answer but find it hard to explain it in a way they'll understand.

In Westside Kids Ministry, we get asked a lot of questions, and we love taking time to answer them thoroughly. This June, we're inviting kids (1st-5th grade) and their parents to a special salvation, baptism, and communion class.

You and your child will learn the meaning of salvation, baptism, and communion, why each is important, and do so in a fun, family-friendly environment. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and, hopefully, receive many answers along the way.

Reading the Bible Essential at WFC Speedway

We're inviting you to invest four Tuesday nights in deepening your relationship with Scripture—not just reading it, but truly engaging with it in ways that transform your everyday life.

Campus Pastor Gary Kendall will guide us through The Scripture Practice, part of John Mark Comer's Practicing the Way series. This isn't a lecture—it's a hands-on experience where you'll learn practical exercises for reading, understanding, and applying the Bible in ways that fuel your spiritual growth.

YA Second Saturday is a monthly dinner gathering for young adults ages 18–29 who want to grow in faith, build genuine community, and deepen their relationship with God. Each month, we come together for a shared meal, meaningful conversation, and connection with other young adults navigating life and faith together.

Whether you’re new to Westside or have been around for a while, this is a welcoming space to meet like-minded peers, form friendships, and grow spiritually in a relaxed, authentic environment.

We are better moms when we gather together to support, encourage, sit with one another, and celebrate each other. Parent Dedication Lunch • Sunday, April 12 • 12:15-2p • WFC Lenexa

Parent Dedication is a special moment set aside for parents to dedicate themselves, their child, and their parenting efforts to God. Our collective hope is that when their child is old enough to understand, they, too, will choose to follow Christ and be baptized. As a church, we're standing with you as you take on the responsibility of parenting a child's heart and walking with them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Prepare for your child's spiritual journey with our Parent Dedication Preparation Lunch on April 12.
