Connection
Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect and build friendships, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations.Content
Alpha’s content explores the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.Conversation
Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits, and there’s nothing you can’t say (really).

Kids Essentials • Salvation & Baptism
Explore Faith Together: Kids Essentials Classes
March 4, Salvation & Baptism • March 11, Communion
We love that our kids ask questions; it means they are growing in stature, awareness, and knowledge. Sometimes, they ask questions we know the answers to, and sometimes, we might know the answer but find it hard to answer in a way they will understand. In Westside Kids Ministry, we get asked a lot of questions, and we love to take time to answer their questions thoroughly. Sometimes, we need more time to converse and discuss the questions. This November, we would like to invite kids (1st-5th grade) and their parents to a salvation/baptism/communion class.
This will be a two-week course to discuss salvation, baptism, and why we take communion. You and your child will learn the meaning of salvation, baptism, and communion, why each is important, and do so in a fun, family-friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and, hopefully, many answers to the questions of salvation, baptism, and communion.

Precepts: Matthew Part 2 • LifeStudy
Encounter Jesus: The Messiah and His Kingdom
PART 2: Thursdays, Oct. 23rd - Dec. 18th • WFC Lenexa East Venue
Who is the promised Messiah, the King who will sit on the throne of David? What is His kingdom? What is the character and lifestyle of those who are a part of this kingdom?
In Matthew Part 1, journey through the towns of Galilee and witness Jesus’ miracles—healing the sick, calming the sea, casting out demons. Listen as He teaches about the Kingdom of Heaven and calls His followers to live by a higher standard. This study brings you face-to-face with the long-awaited Jewish Messiah and invites you to evaluate: Does my life reflect the values of His kingdom?
In Matthew Part 2, dive deeper into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Explore how people responded to Him, why His message provoked such strong reactions, and what ultimately led to the cross. Reflect on the power of the resurrection in your own life and accept the challenge to boldly share the gospel. If Jesus came today, would He be recognized?
Childcare is available. Drop-off begins at 9:15am each week.

Motherhood is: rewarding, challenging, fun, exhausting, a privilege, an adventure that's best lived out with Jesus at our sides!
We are better moms when we gather together to support, encourage, sit with one another, and celebrate each other. Moms Together provides an environment where growth in motherhood and spiritual development unite, creating an opportunity to grow in any season of motherhood. Whether you are an expectant mother, a momma already, a seasoned mom, or a grandmother, there is a place for you in Moms Together.
