At Westside Family Church, we believe in meeting people in their place of pain—and we recognize that trauma touches the lives of many in our community. That’s why we’re offering a one-day Trauma Competent Caregiver Training, designed to equip you with the tools to respond with empathy, understanding, and effective care.
This practical and informative workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to better support individuals affected by trauma—from parents and teachers to ministry leaders, counselors, and community volunteers.
You’ll gain insight into:
How trauma affects the brain and behavior
The visible and invisible signs of trauma
Techniques and strategies for trauma-informed care
How to build trust and safety in relationships
By the end of this training, you’ll walk away empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through compassionate, trauma-informed caregiving.
