Make a Difference at Joy Meadows Summer Camp
July 8-11 | 8:30a- 3:30p | Joy Meadows
Westside is sponsoring a week of Outdoor Adventure Camp at Joy Meadows—a safe, fun, and trauma-informed experience for children impacted by foster care and adoption. This camp provides space for kids to connect, heal, and experience the love of Jesus through nature-based activities and meaningful relationships.
Volunteers are essential to making this week unforgettable. Whether you serve with your A2 Group, Area Community, student ministry friends, or come ready to meet new Westsiders, this is a powerful and local way to share the hope of Jesus.
There are no overnights—just serve each day from 8:30a–3:30p! It’s a great opportunity to make a big impact without traveling far from home.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Camp Counselors – Lead a small group of 3 campers throughout the day.
Station Leaders – Facilitate fun activities like art, nature, or games.
Lunch Team – Prepare and serve meals.
Activity Support – Assist with swimming, games, or camper transitions.
Come be part of what God is doing at Joy Meadows by wrapping His family around these incredible kids and families.
🔗 Registration closes June 15.
Training (4 sessions) and a background check are required. Daily debriefing and opportunities for ongoing connection with the kids are provided. Join us to make a difference in the lives of these children and their caregivers!
