When Others Say "No Way!" | Randy Frazee

2 Corinthians 4:1-7; Judges 7

We do not deserve to be a part of such a ministry as this. (2 Corinthians 4:1)

“Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.” (2 Corinthians 4:1)

We are frail jars of clay that God deposits his presence into. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay...” (2 Corinthians 4:7a)

When powerful things happen in our lives, or through our lives, others shake their head and say – “there’s no way.”

“to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7b)

When the Midianites thought of the Israelite’s that they bullied for seven years they said, “No Way” but the Israelites said, “Yahweh”

He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, “Arise, for the LORD has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand.” 16 Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers. 17 And he said to them, “Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do: 18 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, ‘The sword of the Yahweh and of Gideon!’ ” (Judges 7:15-18)
