Key Question: How will God accomplish his plan?

You were not created in the image of God. (Genesis 2:18)

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone”. Genesis 2:18

We were made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26)

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

We stopped reflecting the image of God at the fall. (Genesis 3-5)

This is the written account of Adam’s family line.
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. (Genesis 5:1-3)

Jesus reflects the image of God (Colossians 1:15, 19)

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation…For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him…(Colossians 1:15,19)

The restoration of the image of God is found in the Body of Christ. (Romans 8:29)

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Our challenge, individually and corporately, is to grow to be more like Jesus
