I πŸ’™My Church | Because We Care For Hurting People | Randy Frazee

Care is baked into the DNA of the church Jesus founded

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teachingβ€―and to fellowship, to the breaking of breadβ€―and to prayer.

Acts 2:42

All the believers were together and had everything in common.β€―45β€―They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.β€―

Acts 2:44

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.β€―They broke breadβ€―in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,β€―47β€―praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.

Acts 2:46-47

And the Lord added to their numberβ€―daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2:47

β€œPeople don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”

β€œThese who have turned the world upside down have come here too.” (Acts 17:6)

What if we united around a care strategy like the first church?

Care Strategy #1 – Become a Care Ambassadors

Your part: (3 simple things)

Know their story – Know their names and where they are coming from

Pray for them - pray for them and with them

Invite & Bring them – Let them know what Westside offers and offer to bring them and continue to hang with them through the trial.

Westside: We will do the rest (www.westsidefamily.churh/care)

Care Strategy #2 – Become a Care Community
