We can't cover all the questions and all the answers to each of the 5 topics during the Doubt Series—nor do we have all the answers. Here are some resources for further reading and exploration as you engage your heart and mind. 

Some big, some small—all open the door a little wider. 

Sometimes the truth that we are children of God is overshadowed by our experiences, past relationships and the beliefs we develop throughout life. It is important that we spend time exploring whether our identity beliefs are true. 

It is important to be aware of how we are speaking to the people that we value.

This plan helps us transition from being focused on our immediate desires to being focused on God’s eternal plan for love.

Knowing who we are and where we direct our effort.

I'm in it for the long haul with Jesus on this. I'm going to live free of shame, but I know it won't happen over night.  I'm practicing new ways of thinking and new ways of resting in the gospel, it's yielding different behavior.  But like with all new habits it's going to take awhile of that to become the new normal. 

While perhaps a slightly less well-known leader than Napoleon, Dan Chaverin, one of the leaders at Westside Family Church is attributed with a similar adage: “a church moves on its volunteers.”
